Preparation for Apprenticeships  16 - 24s

This involves supporting youth, who learn best in one-on-one settings. Elena has extensive experience delivering employability courses at Job Centres (DWP) and working with small organisations to prepare 16-24-year-olds for apprenticeships. She is particularly skilled at supporting young people with barriers to employment and has a proven track record of helping them achieve their career goals. 

What does it include?

* SWOT Analysis. 

* Finding Careers that suits their skills/qualities. ➡️  Career Quiz

* How to analyse an Apprenticeship Job Advert.

* Create a CV to target an Advert.

* How to write formally. (E.g Emails / Cover letters)

* Interview Techniques / Mock Interview practice.

* Lots of interesting discussions, where youth share their opinions and this is to to instill confidence in them, to interact in their Apprenticeship setting.

* Basic Digital Skills if required.

    Do you agree that everyone needs a break and it's good for mental health?

    A range of activities will be provided, to keep our youth positively engaged. Let us know what type of activities you like. For now, I am planning for activities around Music, creating music / learning musical instruments / visits to the Cinema / Competitions / Ice skating in Canary Wharf / Trips e.g to London Eye / British Museum etc. A music studio should be available June/July. 🎧

    (Lessons in Library or Community Centres)

    A large number of people in the community do not speak English, and ESOL Courses in Colleges are in high demand. For now, we provide FREE ESOL Lessons on Tuesday mornings in Woolwich Arsenal. If you are interested, email or complete the contact form. (See Contact Page).

    • Extra Tuition is available for Primary and Secondary School kids, to support their learning in School.
